SOME WOULD SAY A LOGGERS SHORTBOARD, OTHERS A SHORTBOARDERS LONGBOARD - ALL I KNOW IS I RATE THIS AS MY BEST ALL ROUNDER MID SIZE BOARD, IF I WAS TOO HAVE A 1 BOARD QUIVER TO BE STUCK ON A DESERT ISLAND WITH, THIS WOULD BE THE ONE... AVAILABLE IN A RANGE OF TAIL SHAPES AND FIN CONFIGURATIONS AVAILABLE FROM 6’4 - 9'6
- A wider nose template, wide point slightly forward and with a pulled in tail provides a contrast between great trim and glide for novice surfers looking for something fun too ride, the flatness and pulled in tail also make for a great tube rider for higher level surfers looking for something a little different, so theres something for everyone in the VBM, this versatility keeps it as a stable model within the BOS range.
Fin Wise: The VBM can be ridden in a bunch of different fin configurations, 90% of the time i make them as 2+1 set up, to be ridden as a single fin or a 2+1..

- As a single fin i would strongly recommend starting with an 8" flex fin positioned 1/3 of the way back in the box, its easy too tweak and fine tune from this fairly neutral positioning.
