VEE BOTTOM MIDDY

As the name suggests the VBM has a vee bottom, it also has medium rails, flat rocker and a full(ish) foil - some would say a logger's shortboard, others a shortboard's longboard - all i know is I rate this as one of my best all-rounder mid size boards which i think anyone can relate too and have fun on. - In fact if i were to be stuck on a desert island with just one board, it would be this one.

Featuring a wider nose template with the wide point slightly forward of centre and a pulled in tail for control,The flatness and pulled-in tail also make for a great tube rider - There's something for everyone in the VBM, and this versatility keeps it as a staple model within the BOS range.

I've also made a VBM Tri Plane Hull edition, which essentially has the vee out on the rail but a scoped out concave running inside it, making for a steady small wave craft - TPH it will have its own dedicated page soon - stay tuned for that..

Available in a range of tail shapes the VBM is offered from 6'2 - 9'6, smaller sizes being a bit more egg like and ripable and bigger sizes being a bit more of a mini glider feel.

Fin wise: the VBM can be ridden with a bunch of different fin configurations, from single fin too quad too 2+1

- As a single fin I would strongly recommend starting with a flex fin around 1inch larger than the length in feet of the board (eg. 7'2 VBM would have an 8.5" flex fin). I would also recommend starting with the fin positioned 1/3 of the way back in the box, it's easy to tweak and fine tune from this fairly neutral positioning. Forward = looser, further back = tighter.

- As a 2+1 i heavily recommend our widowmaker side fins as an option, their small in stature making them a little more directional than pivotal which keeps that single fin feel. also heavily recommended for those looking for a little more experimentation is bonzer side runners... I'll say no more.
