EASTERN GREEN STAR

EASTERN GREEN STAR

EASTERN GREEN STAR (EGS) - A CURRENT FAVOURITE TOO RIDE AND SHAPE, TOO SOME DEGREES ITS AN EXTENSION OF THE GRIM RIPPER. IN SMALLER SIZES ITS A GREAT ALL ROUND PERFORMANCE FISH BASED DESIGN. IN LONGER LENGTHS ITS A GREAT LONG FISH FOR SWOOPING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS A QUAD FIN WITH SPLIT KEEL STYLE QUAD FINS

FAST - FUN - ZIPPY

(EGS/SF) EASTERN GREEN STAR SHORTBOARD FISH - a great all round performance fish based design, what does this mean? well, for a fish it is very shortboardy, quite low rails keep that shortboard style feel built in, but then a low rocker for speed and drive, on the bottom we have my favourite single concave into a deep extended double / bonzer inspired double concave which also produces a tonne of drive between the fins, behind the fins is where the real action takes place, things transition radically into a vee which lifts up the rail rocker line and makes the board feel very lively. the EGS/SF is a good board for UK style waves, the paddle power helps get in early/easily too waves and the performance rails keep that performance aspect too the board. fins wise, bigger guys will enjoy this with the split keel style quad fins mentioned earlier, smaller guys might struggle with this much fin and may prefer a more traditional quad fin set up.. we have demo sets available too help dial in your new board if required.

(EGS/LF) EASTERN GREEN STAR LONG FISH - a really nice midlength alternative,  for trimming on smaller days, and swooping rail turns on bigger days, the foil is shifted forward so its fast down the line and also paddles into waves easily with all the volume under the chest, the tail is highly refined and thinned out which produces a lot of hold and feels great when on rail. i developed the long fish EGS myself and for me it really excelled in better quality reef waves and longer drawn out point waves over beachie type sure, (not too say it does'nt go in beachines, i personally just found with the extra rocker up front it just needed a bit of shape in the wave too really get going, but once it does its my favourite board) i highly recommend the EGS/LF with split keel quad fins for maximum performance.
